Andrew Parson begins his seventh season as a coach with the Lindsey Wilson College cycling team.
Despite a COVID-19 shortened season in 2019-20, Parson's helped led the Blue Raiders to a No. 7 overall placement in the USA Cycling Collegiate National Rankings.
Parson helped lead the Blue Raiders to a third place finish at the BMX National Championships as well as turning in a sixth place finish during the Mountain Bike National Championship in 2018-19.
He helped guide the cycling program to a runner-up finish in BMX and a sixth-place finish in the mountain bike disciplines in 2017-18. He also coached individual BMX national champion, Dustin Hammond.
Parson helped lead the program to a trio of top-10 team finishes at national championships in three different disciplines in 2016-17, highlighted by a national runner-up finish in BMX. He also coached Sabrina Bice as she captured the individual national championship in BMX for the second year in a row.
During his stay at Lindsey Wilson, Parson has been instrumental in the design and construction of the BMX and Mountain Bike Tracks located just off the Lindsey Wilson campus.
Prior to coming to Lindsey Wilson, Parson ran several businesses, including Gravity 153 Bike Sales & Service and Gravity Fitness.
As a student, Parson competed for four years as a Blue Raider, including winning the Mountain Cross National Championship at the 2005 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships.
Andrew and his wife, Jade, live with their family in Greensburg and is home base to Parson's Construction Services, Inc. He is an active member in his community, currently a county magistrate, therefore understands the importance of community needs, working with local officials, and creating spaces for healthy initiatives.
