A progressive jump line is an area with a few jumps, typically from three to six designed so landing one jump sets you up for the next one. One line will have small, beginner jumps, the next slightly bigger, steeper and or longer jumps, and so on.
The name “pump track” comes from the pumping motion used by the rider's upper and lower body as they ride around the track. The idea of a pump track is to use this pumping motion to maintain your speed around the track without pedaling. Pump tracks can be ridden by cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
A pump track is a continuous dirt or asphalt loop made up of rollers and bermed corners. Tracks can be basic ovals or more complex with multiple turns and straights. Riders should be able to complete the loop without pedaling.

Flow Trails take mountain bikers on a terrain-induced roller coaster experience, with little pedaling and braking necessary. This style of trail typically contains features like banked turns, rolling terrain, various types of jumps, and consistent and predictable surfaces.
You’ll need more fitness and confidence, though they are nearly always ‘rollable’ - that is, you can choose to ride them fast and spend time in the air, but you can also keep your wheels on the ground if you want to. They typically feature unavoidable rocks, roots and small drop-offs, tricky twisty descents, and a wide variety of built features like jumps, brilliant big berms, and maybe boardwalks.
Family-friendly off-road trails are normally gently undulating double-track (wide enough for two riders or walkers), and often compacted surface to keep them rideable/walkable all year round.
Technical trail features are purpose built features that add a degree of difficulty and fun to a trail. Sometimes these features are built to span areas, other times they exist purely as an alternate line to a trail.
(Please be aware, features are subject to builder discretion, locale restrictions, safety considerations, and landscape)
On a Remote Control (RC) track, you'll be able to test the limits of what your RC car is capable of. Tracks typically have jumps, obstacles, bermed corners, and challenges for you and others to race your cars on for hobby or competition.
